JDRF Youth Ambassador Volunteers:
By popular demand, we have moved the JDRF Dream Gala to the wonderful new Omni Dallas Hotel. Due to our new event location and the nature of this special evening, we will not be recruiting JDRF Youth Ambassadors as volunteers for the night of the Dream Gala this year.
We welcome you and your child to attend as a patron, however, all children
attending must be seated with and supervised by their parents during the evening.
We thank you for your support and understanding.
A special way for those living with T1D to help us with this event is to attend our
JDRF Ambassador Art Day, held on February 12th, and help us create unique items
that will be included in our Dream Gala Silent Auction. Thanks to all who will participate!
Support the 2012 Dream Gala by making an
item donation for the Silent Auction:
One of the highlights of the evening is our Cocktail Reception and Silent Auction
preceding Dinner. Our Auction Angels are hard at work procuring and collecting auction
items including jewelry, experiences, vacations, children's items, hotel stays, gift certificates for
retail stores, services and restaurants, and tickets to sporting events, concerts and live shows. Discounts and coupons will not be accepted. For questions, contact Deborah Newsome.
After the Live Auction portion of the Gala,
the ballroom will be stilled and a story of hope will unfold. We call this special moment Fund A Cure. This is your opportunity to make a donation that will go 100% directly to diabetes research and fund the science that will one day transform the lives of our loved
one living with type 1 diabetes.
