STRIKEoutDiabetes is an awareness and fund-raising initiative partnering with JDRF to feature a fun day of bowling, silent and live auctions, bowling celebrity appearances and chances to win great prizes – all with a goal of raising dollars for JDRF funded research.

Celebrity Emcee – Scott Murray
From the Olympics to the US Open, the World Series to the World Cup, Presidential Inaugurations to 30 straight Super Bowls, Scott Murray has covered them all.
For close to a quarter of a century he was the Emmy Award-winning Sports Director and Anchor at NBC 5, DFW. Prior to that, Scott was based in Washington, D.C. with NBC television. During his 3 decades of television sports, Scott was named Sportscaster of the Year 17 times by various news/media organizations such as the Associated Press, United Press International, Dallas Press Club, NATAS, among others.
In 2002 he was the recipient of the prestigious Silver Circle Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Musician and actor Nick Jonas (made famous for his role in the musical trio the Jonas Brothers) joined us at STRIKEoutDiabetes on June 2nd with a goal of bowling a perfect game. Like 3 million other Americans, Nick is also living with type 1 diabetes, but he doesn’t let that stop him from living out his dreams!
