This multi-site Walk draws 25,000 people together in a healthy activity for a worthy cause: raising money to help find a cure for diabetes. Now your school or class can sponsor a Kids Walk to Cure Diabetes!  Students receive health information about diabetes and fundraising packets with paper sneakers, for $1 donations. On collection day, all students participate in the Kids Walk to Cure Diabetes at their school. The Greater Dallas Chapter serves over 300 local area schools!

The Dream Gala is a high profile event that attracts 1,200 guests each year – including many of Dallas’ elite philanthropists and corporations. Guests will enjoy a magical evening featuring a fantastic dinner, one-of-a-kind Live and Silent Auctions and headline entertainment!  The 2012 Dream Gala will take place on Saturday, March 31st at the Omni Hotel Convention Center in Dallas.  [Learn more]

The Annual JDRF Golf event gives 240 golfers the opportuniuty to swing for a cure. The annual Cliff Harris JDRF Reunion Golf Classic will be held at Gleneagles Country Club on Monday, June 27th, 2011.  This day of great company, entertainment, sport, celebrities, dinner and auction is a fun annual tradition for Dallas' best.  [Learn more]

The JDRF Ride To Cure Diabetes is an adventure of a lifetime. Held at fivesites around the U.S., riders take on two challenges: raising the critical money needed to fund the research that will cure diabetes, and reaching a personal training goal that will prepare them for their destination cycling experience. The Annual JDRF Diabetes Research Day Luncheon to celebrate National Diabetes Awareness Month, took place on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.  Guests joined the JDRF Greater Dallas Chapter and Johnson & Johnson to welcome keynote speaker, Dr. Natalie Strand, Amazing Race Winner; Emcees Steve Eager and Heather Hays from Fox 4; founders, Tom and Laura Leppert; and Dr. Kenneth Moritsugu from J&J Diabetes Institute.   [Learn more]
